The Faithfulness of God

It’s a fact. We live in a fallen sinful world filled with imperfect people, and even the most dependable people fail us: our spouses, our friends. They often don’t mean to – but they are only human desperately flawed as we are.

On the other hand, we can fully depend on God’s faithfulness at all times.

What God says, He does. His promises are true.

What He did for His people and the prophets of old, He does for us today. We can safely trust Him at His Word whatever the circumstance.

Always remember: God cannot lie, and His faithfulness endures forever.

It’s a fact!

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
Numbers 23:19

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:13

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28

So this is what the Sovereign Lord says; “See I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.”
 Isaiah 24:16

“For the Lord, your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.”
Deuteronomy 4:31
