Faithful to Complete

Father God,

I pray that today and every day we will be more fully persuaded and have a renewed confidence in this truth: You are a God who completes!

Lord, You lack nothing and we know that You do not not abandon ANY work You have ordained. For, You are The All Sufficient One and You are only capable of complete perfection!

Father, thank You for beginning the work of Grace within us and for comforting us with Your Truth. You alone will see through to completion Your work in us...according to Your Will...in order to accomplish Your Perfect Plan!

Thank You, Lord, that Your Promises include for us an everlasting life. We humbly praise and thank You for the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus, so that we may dwell with You for eternity.

Father, we pray for strength of endurance as we set our eyes on Your Kingdom and we give You all the Glory!

A prayer for restoration of peace...

 
LORD God,

I pray that today and every day Your peace will rule my heart...

I ask Your forgiveness for the things I have allowed to steal my peace - envy, guilt, self-centeredness, pride, bitterness, fear, and doubt. I choose to unite with You, to put away these things, and replace them with Your Fruits of The Spirit...

Father, I surrender my mind, will, emotion, and conduct to You, and pray that The Prince of Peace will reign supremely in my heart. In The Name of Jesus, I ask for deliverance and strength to resist the enemy in his desire to wreak havoc on my emotions and thought life. I pray for discernment of Your Will and Truth, and I invite You in to purify my heart and sustain me as I keep my thoughts captive in Christ...

When I feel violated, I will forgive;
When I feel envious, I will edify and bless;
When I feel bitter or resentful, I will extend love and grace;
When I feel the need to vindicate, I will show mercy;
When I am afraid, I will be faithful and trust in You;
When I am skeptical, I will cling to Your Truth;
When I feel prideful, self-centered, or a need to control, I will surrender to Your Will;
When I feel guilt or shame, I will seek Your forgiveness and remember there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

I thank You and praise You, Father, for the comfort of Your promises and Your gift of eternal peace. I pray that today and every day I will walk in the peace I am called to and honor You in my thoughts and actions.

Heavenly Hope

May The Lord ordain, anoint and prepare our steps as we press toward a new world.

Prayer of Praise


Heavenly Father,

We know we cannot possibly fathom all that You are or all You have done...but we sing praises to You, Lord...for You have set Eternity in our hearts.

Your greatness is immeasurable, yet You created us in Your image and ordained us to be reconciled unto You, Lord God; we praise You for this marvelous mystery and miracle.

We pray You will adorn us with Your robe of righteousness, Lord; we praise You for clothing us in Your garment of salvation.

For, all great and mighty things are by Your hand, Father, and all is made beautiful in Your time...and all the glory, praise and honor is Yours forever and ever!

Rejection & Trusting God's Love:

People who grew up in a home where the seed of rejection was planted have a difficult time trusting God. They transfer the negative characteristics of their caregivers unto God believing that they will never measure up, are not worthy to be loved, and are convinced that God would never approve of them.

If their earthly father rejected them, or if their mother was untrustworthy, if people in authority who were supposed to love and protect them hurt them, then God will reject them and is untrustworthy. That is a lie. God wants to replace the lies that were planted and replant the word of truth into your soul.


Get to know God's character and His immense love for you through His word. Claim God's promises for your life. The heart of your Heavenly Father is for you to know the truth so that you will be set free.

He Is With You Always

Let not your hearts be troubled, dear brothers and sisters, for you are never alone. If even for a moment you feel lonely, abandoned or rejected, speak God's truth into your life.

The Sovereign Lord of Hosts and The Creator of ALL things will never leave or forsake you! You are not orphaned; you are not rejected; and you are never alone in Him. You have a family, an eternal inheritance and an identity sealed by the Author of love and life. You are loved!

Through the intercession of Christ and the gift of The Holy Spirit, our Father is with us ALWAYS...in this temporary dwelling place and beyond. This is His eternal promise to His precious children!

He Is Who He Is

Praise The Lord God Almighty that He IS Who He says He IS!

From Faith to Faith

Faith is not a feeling or emotion and often defies all human logic or reasoning. But, through faith, we gain understanding and Everlasting Truth.

Faith is choosing to take God at His Word....though unseen, the evidence of God and what He accomplishes through His command is all around us.

When we chose to take Him at His Word, we need to get into The Word...bring God into the situation, and align our emotions with His Truth.

Having faith in Him and trusting His Truth brings an unchanging, unwavering, unlimited resource and reality into our circumstances.

When we choose to walk in faith and are obedient to The Will of God, we have created a partnership with an unmatched Leader and LORD over all, who loves us and longs for our good...who created us in His image...desires to transform us and bring us from faith to faith...from glory to glory.

Let us walk in obedient faith and be blessed by His reward for our devotion...for our Father is faithful...and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Fortress of Hope


Regardless of what you may be facing today, place your trust in the Fortress of hope, and you will not be shaken.

God is the giver and foundation of your faith. He is the author of salvation and eternal life. He commands all things seen and unseen. He provides the promise of an abundant life and desires to fulfill that for you. He has the omniscient ability to untangle the snares of adversity and part the stormy sea. He alone knows the path to peace.

He has a plan for your life, including all the seemingly impossible predicaments. Trust God. Surrender it to Him with unwavering faith. Pray without ceasing. Open your heart to receive how He may want to heal and instruct you, hone your character and strengthen your faith. God is certainly able to bring you through it with an awesome testimony of His greatness, all for His glory.

Just let your soul rest in Him, for He is the unlimited source of your help, hope, peace, comfort and strength. And remember...at the end of the day, come what may, you have been promised eternity with Jesus.

Faith

May we have a heart of fearless faith in our Holy Heavenly Father...ears that discern the whisper of The Holy Spirit...and steps ordained and directed by Jesus Christ.

May we place our faith in the One we are born of...walk in glorious victory and pursue His unmitigated righteousness.

May The Lord fill us with peace and joy as we place our unwavering trust and faith in Him only...as we run a race of endurance through redemption and restoration.

And may we overflow with hope through the power of His Holy Spirit, rooted and established in His love.

From Fear to Faith

Everyone experiences fear and anxiety from time to time, but being consumed with fear and anxiety can be crippling. Fear and anxiety turn us inward towards ourselves. Satan can and will use fear and anxiety against us at every opportunity. When we experience fear and anxiety, we must take a deep breath and think about Christ and His assurance to be with us. We must remember to relax and place these negative emotions in a proper perspective. Fear is the negative emotion generated by a tangible threat. Anxiety is the negative emotion generated by an intangible threat. Fear is the result of something real. Anxiety is the result of something imagined. Anxiety causes an unsettledness within, often people can’t identify what they are anxious about. Worry is different, the object of their worry is identifiable.

When we are worried, fearful and anxious, we must remember to pray. Obviously, fear and anxiety take away your prayerful moods. However, God cares about your coming to Him in prayer, regardless of your emotions or your circumstances. Pray God’s word over every fear, worry or anxious thought. By doing so, we are promised in Philippians 4:6-7 that the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds.

Always remember that negative emotions are rooted in negative thinking. Emotions will not change unless we change our thinking. Scripture backs this up beautifully, “Anxiety in the heart of a man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.” (Proverbs 12:25). Saturate yourself in the Truth of God’s Holy Word. Meditate on the rich promises that are part of your inheritance as a beloved precious child of the living God! No matter how your feel right now choose to embrace the truth, strength and wisdom and peace of God by changing your spiritual focus from darkness to light.

Let the One who counts every hair on your head comfort and fill you with hope for the future. His perfect love casts away all fear. Set your fearful thoughts on Jesus. He is the greatest mood stabilizer of all.

A Prayer to Restore Family Unity

A prayer to restore family unity...

Father God,

I cry out to You, Abba, with a heart grieving over the unstable, broken, and chaotic condition of my family! You have richly blessed me with this gift; yet, we have fallen prey to the enemy in his declaration to demolish Your beautiful creation. LORD, I realize I have forsaken Your perfect and delightful design for the family, and I repent, in The Name of Jesus!

LORD, I choose today to follow Your Master Design for a Godly family. To rebuild this family system according to Your will, I am leaning into You for wisdom, truth, and strength. I ask You to reveal to me my God-ordained roles and responsibilities, and all that is required of me to receive the covering of Your blessings in my household.

LORD, Jesus, I invite You into my heart and my home. I release and surrender my family to You and Your care. I give You permission to do what is necessary to chasten, convict, heal, and restore, so that nothing is hindering us from giving glory to You, Precious Father, through the heart of our family. Jesus, I claim the victory of Your priceless Blood-covering over my family! I pray for healing and peace where chaos has ensued, and for us to be lifted from the bondage of the enemy, in The Name of Jesus!

Father, show me how to see my precious family through the Christ lens; lead me to love them as You love us; remind me what it looks like to take up my cross and follow You. Lay it on my heart that I am a new creation, dying to self, so I may serve my beloved family with a pure heart and extend to them the same forgiveness, grace and mercy You have shown me.

I praise You for Your cleansing, healing love, and I give You all the glory, LORD. Only You can redeem and restore what is lost and broken, and I place all my faith and trust in You.

Freedom from Fear



God's immutable Word tells that us He has not given us a spirit of fear. Walking in a state of perpetual fear is bondage; a spiritual battle only conquered through God and His truth.

Reacting to protect ourselves from eminent danger is a healthy fear response. In contrast, being a slave to fear produces crippling hopelessness, doubt and uncertainty...all strongholds of the enemy. False emotions beget a faulty belief system, which robs us of our peace and derails us from our authentic path of freedom.

As with any darkness, a spirit of fear is demolished by light and truth...and that Truth is The Word of God. We must don the Sword of The Spirit...read, believe, absorb and apply The Word. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Praise The Lord that He has called us into His marvelous light and that He is with us always!

Joshua 1:8-9
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Truth Heals

Nothing hurts, and nothing heals like the truth. Facing the truth is sometimes like getting a shot from the doctor. Facing the truth sometimes brings a sting, but eventually, healing will come, and we will feel better.

The truth heals us and restores us when we place our lives in the hands of God. Without placing our life in Christ’s love and grace, the truth can only hurt us, and there are even times when the truth can maim and traumatize us. However, God has organized things in such a way as to bless us and heal us when we are with Him and when we rejoice in knowing the truth.

The truth heals and restores our soul because when we live and immerse ourselves in the truth, eventually the truth will lead us to God. We are healed and restored by the truth because the truth always leads us to a place where we find comfort and love in His presence.

The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth is this…God loves us beyond our ability to fully comprehend. All the hurt, trauma, and tragedy of this life can be washed away in the truth of God’s love and grace if we are willing to be His child.

This washing away of our darkness is how the truth heals and restores us. After we are washed clean by Christ’s love, we find ourselves being wrapped up in His arms. In the washing away of our lies and deceptions, we begin to see clearly our Savior who stands by us every second of our life. We also see He wants us to join Him in Heaven after our mission on earth has been completed.

The Lord Is There

Let us rejoice and have everlasting comfort because Jehovah Shammah is ALWAYS there.

Our Father God is Creator of and sovereign over all in existence; He is ever present and dwells within those who believe, receive, trust and obey Him. We live because of Him and for Him. He comforts, protects, sustains, completes and fills every void.

Thank you, Heavenly Shepherd, for our value in You. We praise You that You are ever present in Your people, and therefore, we shall never want.

A Prayer for Spiritual Growth

Holy and Heavenly Father God,

Thank You, LORD, for You have blessed me with the mind of Christ and today I walk in freedom. I chose to continue to grow and live an abundant life in the full measure of Your love. Jesus, You are my greatest, truest friend. You laid down Your life for me and spilled Your Precious Blood, so I could come to know You. You are the Counselor on High and The True Physician; my Advocate, Shepherd, Rock, Living Well of Salvation, Strong Tower of Strength…and, LORD Jesus, I run to You!

Father, thank You for Your gift of forgiveness, faith, and revelation. I now know who I am, to Whom I belong, and I live with hope and purpose. My identity is sealed in Christ and I am a new creation. I am saved, loved, chosen, holy, blameless, adopted, predestined, accepted, forgiven, joint-heir with Jesus, filled with the richness of Your Grace, and the praise of Your Glory! I am a beloved child of The Living God, rooted in Truth, fed by the Living Waters. I am redeemed, and I seek only an authentic and fruitful life in Christ Jesus.

Today and every day, I choose to operate in Your Spirit of Truth, Mercy, Grace, and Wisdom. My mind is fixed on You, LORD, as You have given me eyes that see great and unsearchable things, and ears that hear the whisper of Your Holy Spirit. You promise to never separate from me and I am very confident of this: if there is a drought around me, I will not wilt; if I pass through deep waters, I will not drown; if I pass through the fire, I will not be scorched. I will not grow weary or faint, for You will sustain me and uphold me with Your righteous hand. You alone provide all that is needed to sustain my tree of life. And, LORD, I rest because I know You are always there; at the tip top of the mountain or in the deepest valley, Your love never fails!

Today I am capable of love, because You loved me first. I am the lighted city on the hill, and You are the Lamp to my feet. I have a fertile heart, pliable for Your purpose, ready to yield Your Fruits of The Spirit. Jesus, You are The Vine, I am the branches; apart from You I can produce nothing that is fruitful. So, I draw on Your Living Waters today to grow, nourish and refresh the spiritual fruits budding in the garden of my life. I praise You for cleansing my heart, for restoring my life, and for my wholeness of healing. My heart rejoices in praise for the mighty work You have begun in me! Thank You, Jesus, for the hope and heritage I have in You.

He Binds Up The Broken

Let this promise for the lost, wounded, hurting, sick and wandering fill you with hope. God fulfills His promise to those who cry out to Him. He pursues with His steadfast and unwavering love.

Understanding how He longs to mend, heal, and restore you will fill your heart with joy.

No matter what has happened in your life, what you’ve done or how far you have wandered, our Good Shepherd will find you, restore you, and bring you home.

Psalm 23:1-3

Iron Sharpens Iron

Let our hearts be united in The Holy Spirit and bear the image of our Heavenly Father...

Let us support and encourage one another in our supernatural union...strengthening and spurring each other on to good deeds...carrying our brethren's burdens in brotherly love and with mutual edification...as true imitators of Christ and in fulfillment of His Law.

God Is Our Help

Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck. Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can’t find a foothold. I am in deep water, and the floods overwhelm me. I am exhausted from crying for help; my throat is parched. My eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to help me.”

“Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged. For the LORD hears the cries of the needy.”
Psalms 69: 1-3, 32-33 (NLT)

We all go through struggles and hard times. Life is not fair. There are times of sadness, despair, and regret. The Psalmist paints a picture of someone trapped in an emotional downward spiral. Everything seems overwhelming and yet, in the end, they were able to say that there is encouragement in seeking God’s help. Why? Because God hears us. There are two types of trauma that brings the kind of despair that we read in today’s passage. There is the trauma of “not getting what we need” , and then there is the trauma of “getting something that we should have never received.” The first is the result of neglect and abandonment, the second from abuse.

But the good news is that God hears us in our despair and He can help us. Life brings each of us inescapable traumas that block maturity. God’s redemptive activity comes to us in two ways: He brings healing to our traumas, and adopts us into His family. Both ways boost us through our blocks to maturity, along the way to wholeness, With these boosts, we will be able to live from the hearts He gave us, our true identities will emerge, and our relationships with family and community will be characterized by joy.

Today, praise God for His healing. It is there for you as you bring your pain to Him. Also, praise God for His family. It is through the fellowship and love from each other that we are made whole and can experience the joy He has for us.

Draw Near To God

Let us call upon The Lord with a sincere heart and steadfast faith...seek Him earnestly and delight ourselves in Him.

Let us trust in His promises and take refuge in our Rock, Stronghold and Shield...find safety, strength and fruitful seasons in Him.

Let us draw near to our Deliverer in truth and transparency, finding that He is never far away...that our cries are readily received by His Heavenly ears.

And may we come away with a new song in our heart...rejoicing and praising Him forevermore!

Psalm 34:17
The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.
