Confident Conquerors In Christ

Our time of need for His grace, love and mercy is today and everyday...exactly where we are in this moment...in every struggle...in all aspects of our humanity.

So, let us draw near to Him and approach His Throne with confident faith and full assurance because of Who He is and what He has done for us.

In The Name of Jesus Christ, with prayer and petition...let us make our requests known to our Almighty Father God of unlimited resources...our all-powerful, all-seeing, agape-loving, marvelously-merciful, Holiest-of-holies King, who has gloriously given us access to His ALWAYS sovereignly sufficient Grace.

And may our hearts be strengthened by the sprinkling and sanctification of His Grace, as His power rests upon us in our weaknesses.

Romans 5:2
through whom we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

In Him and through faith in Him we may enter God's presence with boldness and confidence.

But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

Hebrews 10:22
let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

2 Corinthians 12:9
But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.

And may we overflow with hope through the power of His Holy Spirit, rooted and established in His love.

He Will Finish the Work

Father God,

I pray that today and every day we will be more fully persuaded and have a renewed confidence in this truth: You are a God who completes!

Lord, You lack nothing and we know that You do not not abandon ANY work You have ordained. For, You are The All Sufficient One and You are only capable of complete perfection!

Father, thank You for beginning the work of Grace within us and for comforting us with Your Truth. You alone will see through to completion Your work in us...according to Your Will...in order to accomplish Your Perfect Plan!

Thank You, Lord, that Your Promises include for us an everlasting life. We humbly praise and thank You for the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus, so that we may dwell with You for eternity.

Father, we pray for strength of endurance as we set our eyes on Your Kingdom and we give You all the Glory!

In the name of our holy and righteous Savior, Jesus Christ,

The Balm of Gilead

Brokenness is a heart condition. Jesus is the remedy...and His cure guarantees eternal life!

When we invite in The Great Physician to perform His spiritual surgery, we receive a heart healing that includes redemption, restoration, rest and peace...beside the still waters of everlasting love.

Won't you cry out to The Balm of Gilead? That He may bind and heal your wounded heart?

Psalm 30:2
O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

Freedom

God created us as free-moral-agents. We are free to choose eternal life or death...free to choose Fruits of The Spirit or the "forbidden fruit" we may be confronted with each day...free to choose Him.

Praise God that when we exercise our free will and choose Christ (the authentic path designed for us long ago), we experience the HIGHEST FORM OF FREEDOM!

In His love for us, Abba God not only gives us freedom of choice, but also offers a plan when we get derailed! He stretches out His arms from afar and promises forgiveness, mercy, grace, redemption, and restoration. What love!

John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom

Romans 8:2
For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Luke 15:20-24
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.” But the father said to his servants, “Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.” So they began to celebrate.

Precious In His Sight

You are God’s precious Jewel. Jewels are precious things; the Hebrew word for jewels means a treasure. A treasure is made up of costly things: gold, and diamonds and rubies. To God, Christians are His jewels, His own special treasure!

Yet so many of God’s children look in the mirror and see an ugly stone with no value or worth and feel defective, less than, blemished, stained and feel rejected. Sadly many people suffer from self-rejection.

The problem is poor vision. When they look in the mirror they fail to see what God sees – a beautiful, brilliant gem, so they look to external features for self-acceptance failing to see their inner God-given worth.

“For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Zephaniah 16:7

Redeemed

Praise The Lord that He is is alive, seated on The Throne...that He overcame the darkness and made a way for us to walk in His marvelous light.

Praise The Lord for His grace lavished so mercifully upon us...that by His precious stripes, we are rescued and restored; the salt of the earth and the lighted city on the hill.

Praise The Lord that we are justified through Him and our stain of sin is removed; that we may be sanctified and reconciled unto The Father.

Praise The Lord, for we are rescued and redeemed...and one with The Son for Eternity!

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Philippians 3:20
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:7-8
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us...

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Colossians 1:13-14
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

How Great the Father's Love

We are precious children of the Living God. That is our true identity. The world tries to give us false and negative identities (ugly, worthless, unwanted, not good enough, etc.) But our precious Savior wants us to be firmly rooted in the truth of who we are in Him (pure, spotless, beautiful, special, wanted, accepted, and loved).

Identity always forms an action. If we see ourselves as unworthy, our actions will follow and vice versa. When we begin to see ourselves as Jesus sees us – precious and beloved, we start to choose to live and behave in our right identity.

We then enter into a sweet place of utter and complete brokenness where we see how we have tried to cover the shame, dirtiness, and unworthiness by trying to mask, look good, justify, perform, compensate, work harder, earn God’s love or withdraw altogether. It is then that we can surrender all the faulty ways we have tried to earn love and acceptance and embrace the sufficiency of the love of Christ displayed at the Cross of Calvary.

I am beloved and made Holy not by any action of my own but because of what Jesus has done for me. The moment we embrace that truth as our right identity, we are set free, and our roots of faith grow deep in the soil of our hearts that will sustain, protect and nourish us through the seasons of life.

The Bread of Life

Let us always be grateful that in the wilderness of famine or the valley of temptation, The Word of God prevails...it is our soul's food...the means by which our Spirit is nourished and sustained.

Let us praise Him for feeding us the eternal manna of Jesus Christ, that we may be spiritually strengthened, supported and fulfilled all the days of our lives.

May we always be hungry for Truth...comforted by His Rod and Staff - His Word and The Holy Spirit...and rejoice in The Bread of Life, forevermore.

Matthew 4:4
But Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

John 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.

Deuteronomy 8:3
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 111:5
He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.

Eternal Perspective

A key factor in achieving peace in the midst of adversity is maintaining our eternal perspective. This strengthens our resolve as we wait patiently on The Lord. We focus on our Lifeboat, Who provides a refuge of still waters, regardless of the surrounding stormy seas.

Eternal perspective is gained through prayer and intimate fellowship with The Father, help from The Holy Spirit, saturation in the scripture, and by consciously removing our gaze from the worldly temptations Satan surrounds us with.

Eternal perspective lends a Godly view...the REAL big picture...and assists us in overcoming temptations and weathering storms, while maintaining perfect peace of mind.

When we look through the Christ lens, we experience love and grace, and we extend the same to others. We have everlasting peace, because we understand we were carefully crafted with purpose; that God intends for us to live an abundant, fruitful life, not one constantly tainted with misery, regret and uncertainty. As our faith is strengthened in the presence of our Savior, we glean more of Who our God really is and we gain a more personalized understanding of His design for us.

Our eternal perspective is founded in God's truth and is steeped in His cherished promises. We are enabled to make each day count for our King, because we have our eyes on the prize. So, at the end of an enormously tough day or season, we know with all that we are, it is virtually non-existent when compared to the reward of an eternity with Jesus.

Colossians 3:2
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God's heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.

John 16:33
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.

John 14:2
In My Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

Hebrews 3:1
Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, set your minds on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

Revelation 3:21
To the one who is victorious, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Romans 8:17
And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ--if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Philippians 3:20
But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ...

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2 Samuel 22:31
As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tested; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Fashioned With Purpose

Praise God that His grace, mercy, promises, love, forgiveness, redemption and salvation are unchanging and unending. Praise The Father that He has given us hope in His purpose...grace granted through Jesus Christ...and a glorious, eternal inheritance!

His love for us is pure, passionate, promised and predestined. He chose us before the foundation of the world! We are holy and blameless in His sight! We are called, justified, and glorified by The Sovereign LORD of hosts, The Master Architect of the universe, and The Holiest of holies! In all of His majestic omniscience and splendor, HE CHOSE US! And He fashioned us in a way to serve His call and His purpose. Hallelujah!

Let us walk in a manner worthy of His calling. And may He powerfully fulfill our every good desire and work of faith, according to His purpose...and all for His beautiful glory.

God Fills The Void

Only the One who created our heart is meant to fill it. We were designed by God to desire, seek, and to ultimately be completed by Him.

Nothing else we attempt to occupy the void with will ever suffice because we were created by and for Him; destined for Eternity with Him. Only God can penetrate the emptiness and the longing in our hearts, and offer us true satisfaction. Jesus is the sustenance of life...and He paid an incomprehensible price to make His home in our hearts!

So let us give the LORD our whole heart, as it belongs to Him alone to fill! And, may we be blessed with the anointing of His love...as our soul-cup runs over with His fullness...born from the spring of eternal life.

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

...O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

Our Savior, Our Friend

Jesus, You are our greatest, truest friend. You laid down Your life for us and spilled Your Precious Blood, so we could come to know You.

You are the Counselor on High and The True Physician. You are our Advocate, Shepherd, Savior, Bridegroom, Rock, Salvation, Strong Tower of Strength…

And, LORD Jesus, we run to you!

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold

Isaiah 61:10
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.

John 15:15

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you.

Spiritual Growth

May we be filled with the wisdom and grace of our Heavenly Father, as He completes us according to His will.

And may we crave the pure spiritual milk of God, as we press on towards the prize of our high calling in Jesus Christ.

And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have laid hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God's heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:9
He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our own works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time eternal.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head.
