Living Abundantly

Would it make any difference to you today if you received the truth that Jesus came that you may have life, and to also have it abundantly?

How much different would your life be if you understood that God has a specific, fruitful plan for you; one that is immeasurable by man?

God does have a distinct, predestined purpose for all of His precious children...both individually and collectively...and it is far beyond anything we can possible conceive in our humanity.

Our unchanging, unwavering Provider has unlimited resources and He is exceedingly able to bless us far beyond our heart's desire...according to His power that is at work within us...today, tomorrow and forevermore!

All of the trials, temptations, fears, possessions, pain and worldly pleasures we attain or experience on Earth are temporary. But, a life that is sustained through The Holy Spirit is exceedingly abundant and eternal. Through His provision of truth, freedom and grace...we should not just be alive, but experiencing our lives abundantly!

Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,

Romans 16:25
Now to Him who is able to strengthen you by my gospel and by the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery concealed for ages past,

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Supernatural Strength of Endurance

Be courageous and transparent before God. Open up to The Lord regarding your struggles. Give the battle to Him; exchange your struggle for His strength.

Be watchful at all times. Consider the spirit behind the negative emotions and difficult situations you face. The enemy prowls around like a lion and can gain a foothold when we drift.

Put on the full armor of God. Stand boldly on Truth...steadfast and fixed on the Gospel of Jesus.

Be alert and aware of your enemy. But, know with confidence The Lord of hosts is the recipient of your prayers...God is the ultimate authority and the unlimited source of your hope, faith and trust.

Be strong and let your heart take courage. Wait on The Lord...and run your race with supernatural strength of endurance.

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

1 Corinthians 15:1
Now brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, and in which you stand firm.

Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery.

Ephesians 3:16
I pray that out of the riches of His glory, He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being,

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have full endurance and patience, and joyfully

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.

Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with endurance the race set out for us.

Eternal Perspective

A key factor in achieving peace in the midst of adversity is maintaining our eternal perspective. This strengthens our resolve as we wait patiently on The Lord. We focus on our Lifeboat, Who provides a refuge of still waters, regardless of the surrounding stormy seas.

Eternal perspective is gained through prayer and intimate fellowship with The Father, help from The Holy Spirit, saturation in the scripture, and by consciously removing our gaze from the worldly temptations Satan surrounds us with.

Eternal perspective lends a Godly view...the REAL big picture...and assists us in overcoming temptations and weathering storms, while maintaining perfect peace of mind.

When we look through the Christ lens, we experience love and grace, and we extend the same to others. We have everlasting peace, because we understand we were carefully crafted with purpose; that God intends for us to live an abundant, fruitful life, not one constantly tainted with misery, regret and uncertainty. As our faith is strengthened in the presence of our Savior, we glean more of Who our God really is and we gain a more personalized understanding of His design for us.

Our eternal perspective is founded in God's truth and is steeped in His cherished promises. We are enabled to make each day count for our King, because we have our eyes on the prize. So, at the end of an enormously tough day or season, we know with all that we are, it is virtually non-existent when compared to the reward of an eternity with Jesus.

Colossians 3:2
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God's heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.

John 16:33
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.

John 14:2
In My Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

Hebrews 3:1
Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, set your minds on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

Revelation 3:21
To the one who is victorious, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Romans 8:17
And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ--if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Philippians 3:20
But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ...

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2 Samuel 22:31
As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tested; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Whiter Than Snow

Let us cry out to Abba Father for sanctification and purification of our souls.

Let us invite Him in to cleanse and condition our hearts...that He might bathe and soak us in The Holy Spirit, as we truly experience His Grace.

Let us petition Him to remove all shame, fear, guilt, anger and uncertainty...all the lies we've received in our earthly existence...and, in turn, receive and believe His immutable truth.

And may He may produce in us the authentic, Holy Spirit-filled being He intended and created in us...with a heart whiter than snow.

Psalm 51:2
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

John 13:8
"Never shall You wash my feet!" Peter told Him. Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.

John 13:9
"Then Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not only my feet, but my hands and my head as well."

Acts 22:16
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away, calling on His name.

1 Corinthians 6:11
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

From Guilt to Grace

From Guilt to Grace

When we find our identity in Christ, we need to fully embrace God's marvelous grace and let go of the guilt and shame accumulated in our wanderings.

In His family, we are able to achieve a whole, healed identity...an enriched life blessed with freedom, peace and joy. With our salvation, we have an opportunity for an abundant and fruitful life, which results from receiving His unconditional love.

Let us cling to this picture of His acceptance and forgiveness; His desire and capacity to save the lost and hurting! Let us rejoice that He deems us worthy!

And may we envelope ourselves in His mercy and grace, given freely by The Living God to His precious children in Christ.

1 Timothy 1:14-15
And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Ecclesiastes 7:20
Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Luke 15:20
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

John 3:17
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

Delivered

Unfortunately, none of us has an automatic detour to prevent us from encountering valleys in our human journey. We live in a sin-stained world and there is no perfection on this side of Eternity. However, as believers, we have a choice not to wander in the wilderness. If we are walking with Jesus, we are never lost!

In these seasons that try our souls and test our faith, we must have hope and fix our gaze on the eternal prize that awaits us. Our faithful God of unlimited resources will enable us to navigate in perfect peace if we place unwavering faith in Him. God is ever-present and always offers us spiritual and emotional protection. God alone is our means of overcoming every temptation placed before us. He is our anchor, hope and comfort when we are faced with uncertainty, adversity and heartache.

And if we do get momentarily derailed, our Heavenly Father is waiting with welcoming arms for His prodigal children. He alone holds the power to remove bondage and restore us to the path of righteousness. Deliverance is just a prayer away, and we are never beyond the reach of our Shepherd.

Lord, we pray for Your deliverance in the wilderness of our momentary troubles, and that You will enable us to maintain the eternal compass of Jesus Christ. We trust You to stretch and bend us according to Your will, and lead us to Your peaceful and living waters. Our hope, faith, peace and rest is in You alone.

In The Name of Jesus, our Refuge, Redeemer and Deliverer,

Amen.

Sufficient Grace

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for encouragement and truth in Your Word and Your promise of sufficient grace. I thank You for creating me the way I am and for showing me how to accept even my weaknesses...for this is where You fill in the gap with Your grace and Your power is magnified.

I pray for less of me and more of You....reveal to me new areas where I need refinement of character...sanctify me with Your Holy Spirit and maturate me spiritually, as You bring me from faith to faith...from glory to glory.

Show me Your Ways, Lord. Take all of me and shape me according to Your perfect will...partner with me today and every day, so that others will see You in me...all for Your glory and Your kingdom.

I praise You for Your redemptive gift of Christ so that I may freely receive grace and walk in freedom...in my true, authentic identity. Thank You for Your ongoing transformation in me and for bringing me to where I am today. I praise You, Lord, for all the ways You have chosen to bless me...and I pray that You will enable me to open up even more of my heart to the work of Your hands.

Keep me on Your lighted, anointed and ordained path for my life, Father...and thank You for Your comfort and grace when I lose my footing. I need You...I love You...and I fully trust Your plan and purpose for my life, which belongs to You alone.

I pray this all in Jesus Christ's Holy and Righteous Name,

Amen.

The Battle Is Won

We are victorious conquerors through Jesus Christ.

He has overcome all and the battle of our salvation is already secured. Nothing can separate Him from us!

So, have courage and faith and give your struggle to Him...stand and see The Lord work on your behalf!

Psalm 118:6
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

Isaiah 41:10
'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

The Greatest Gift Is Love

May we be clothed in grace and mercy by loving the unlovable and forgiving the unforgivable...

May we honor God by abiding in the ultimate expression of His righteousness and the greatest gift of all...

And may The Lord show us how to love others, just as He has lavished us with His perfect love.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your love never fails!

John 13:34
A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another.

1 Corinthians 13
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Reverence and Revelation

Let us revere, respect and honor The Lord; seek Him above all things, and obey His Living Word.

May He give to us discernment, wisdom and understanding, according to His will for us in Christ.

And may He rescue and deliver us...providing us with revelation of the truth and understanding that sets us free forevermore.

2 Corinthians 7:1

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

God Fills The Void

Only the One who created our hearts is meant to fill it. We were designed by God to desire, seek and to ultimately be completed by Him.

Nothing else we attempt to occupy the void with will ever suffice because we are destined for Him. Only God can penetrate the emptiness and the longing in our hearts and offer us true satisfaction. Jesus is the sustenance of life and paid an incomprehensible price to make His home in our hearts!

So let us give the Lord our whole heart, as it belongs to Him to fill! And may we be blessed with the anointing of His love...as our soul-cup runs over with His fullness, born from the spring of eternal life.

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Psalm 63:1
...O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Colossians 1:16
For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Romans 11:36
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

Partakers of The Divine Nature

Let us be increased in our faith and trust in our Creator and Savior...our hearts purified and sanctified in His image.

Let us be strengthened, transparent and intimate in our relationship with Jesus...increased in our understanding of His excellence and essence.

May we pray to and partner with Him for increased knowledge and wisdom of Who He Is...praising Him for His sacred holiness and His Holy Spirit transformation in us.

And as partakers in the divine nature of Jesus Christ, may our Heavenly Father work in us and through us, guiding us as we walk in The Spirit...storing our treasures in Heaven!

The Deep Things of God Revealed In Our Hearts

Father God,

We praise You for giving us eyes that see and ears that hear the deep things revealed only by You. Remind us, Lord, of who we are in You and all that You have graciously given to us. We seek You and only You, and we need you today and everyday.

We pray for Your immeasurable strength as we strive for more of You and less of us...to learn more of Your faithful and unsearchable ways...that we may be led from faith to faith and glory to glory...as we are made more fully complete in your sight.

We pray that You will meet us where we are today and fill in the gap where we fall short. Show us, Abba, what You have willed for us in this day. Give us the discernment we need to fully receive Your blessings, and to also be a blessing to others...to put on the love of Christ and have a cleaned, compassionate heart.

Thank You for revealing to us Your marvelous mystery and for indwelling us with your advocate, The Holy Spirit. We pray that You would fill us with the full measure of your fruits, according to Your Will, that we may be utilized mightily for Your holy kingdom...all for Your glory.

Jesus, we praise you for Your indescribable gift and for always acting on our behalf.

We pray these things in the holiest and most righteous Name of Jesus,

Amen.

What is Unseen is Eternal

Let us fix our eyes on things unseen and eternal, and seek The Lord our God with our whole hearts.

Let us have everlasting hope in our omniscient Creator, regardless of our human perspective, and fully trust in His perfect plan.

And may our faith be refined like silver when tested...glorifying our Holy Father in Heaven.

Confident Conquerors in Christ

Confident Conquerors in Christ

Our time of need for His grace, love and mercy is today and everyday! Exactly where we are in this moment...in every struggle...in all aspects of our humanity.

So, let us draw near to Him and approach His Throne with confident faith and full assurance...because of Who He is, what He has done for us and who He carefully crafted us to be.

In The Name of Jesus Christ, with prayer and petition, let us make our requests known to our Almighty Father God of unlimited resources...our all-powerful, all-seeing, agape-loving, marvelously-merciful, Holiest-of-holies King, who has gloriously given us access to His Grace...which IS ALWAYS sovereignly sufficient.

May our hearts be strengthened by the sprinkling and sanctification of His grace and may His power rest on us in our weaknesses.

Romans 5:2
"through whom we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God."

Ephesians 3:12
"In Him and through faith in Him we may enter God's presence with boldness and confidence."

Hebrews 3:6
"But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast."

Hebrews 7:19
"(for the Law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God."
