Unshackling the Fear of Rejection

The fear of being rejected is a terrible plague upon many people. Through life experiences causing us to fear rejection, we can lead a life shackled with false ideas. Because of our past experiences, we can live behind prison bars that are only a myth. As a Christian, you do not need to live in fear. You do not need to live in fear of rejection because if Christ is for you, who can be against you? Certainly, we all live in a real world.

We want others to like us and accept us. However, we must understand Christ gives us a mighty armor of love shielding us from the rejection of the world. Besides, if the world, in all its sin and degradation does not want you and Christ does want you, how could you feel so bad about that? All of us must remember no matter how much the world comes against us or rejects us, Jesus is always for us.
-Cecilia Trent

Psalm 9:10
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Psalm 34:4
I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.

Romans 8:31
What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Psalm 118:6
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

Think On These Things.....

It can be difficult in our humanity to rid ourselves of the clutter in our thoughts. Circumstances and situations can evoke emotions within us that can be difficult to cope with.

It takes an active, conscious effort to partner with God in the valleys...to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ...to think, practice and dwell on truth and that which is holy and pleasing unto Him.

"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you." (Philippians 4:8-9)

"We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ..." (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Resisting Wayward Thoughts

Let us surrender our our wayward thoughts and our carnal reasoning to The Father.

Let us embrace His Eternal Truth, His Perfect Way and His Everlasting Light.

Let us armor up and call upon The Power of God for a mindset fixed on Him...rebuke in Christ's Name the power and influence of the enemy in our thoughts...and claim the victory of an enlightened soul and spirit in The Name of Jesus!

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1 John 3:3)
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5)

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

From Faith To Faith

Faith is not a feeling or emotion and often defies all human logic or reasoning. But, through faith, we gain understanding and Everlasting Truth.

Faith is choosing to take God at His Word....though unseen, the evidence of God and what He accomplishes through His command is all around us.

When we chose to take Him at His Word, we need to get into The Word...bring God into the situation and align our emotions with His Truth.

Having faith in Him and trusting His Truth brings an unchanging, unwavering, unlimited resource and reality into our circumstances.

When we choose to walk in faith and are obedient to The Will of God, we have created a partnership with an unmatched Leader and Lord over all, who loves us and longs for our good...who created us in His image...desires to transform us and bring us from faith to faith...from glory to glory.

Let us walk in obedient faith and be blessed by His reward for our devotion...for our Father is faithful...and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

"The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:8)

"But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." (1 Peter 1:25)

"For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth." (Psalm 33:4)

"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." (Hebrews 11:3)

"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going." (Hebrews 11:8)

"Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed." (Luke 7:7)

"Jesus said to her, 'Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?'" (John 11:40)

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)

Victory

Be fearless, be still, be watchful and let God lead you in perfect peace.

Fight as though you've already won; move forward in victory, not for victory.

Praise God that for those in Christ Jesus, the battle is already won and eternal life is ours!

Exodus 13:13-14
And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

2 Chronicles 20:17
You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

1 John 2:17
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Born In Bethlehem

"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea..." (Matthew 2:1)

Bethlehem means "house (or place) of bread"...

....."And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." (John 6:35)

So it was fulfilled, The Bread of Life was born in Bethlehem, the "place of bread!"

Interestingly, the Hebrew meaning of the name Micah is "who is like Jehovah?"

How beautiful that because of the fulfillment of His Word, Purpose and Promises, we have an opportunity for reconciliation with God, to live in His image...become "like Jehovah" and feast on The Bread of Life!

"And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him..." (Colossians 3:10)

Soul Fulfilled

Let us thank our Abba Father for fulfillment of His Word...for, by this, we too may be fulfilled.

Let us praise Him, for our souls find their worth through Him and indwelling of The Holy Spirit.

He was born among us and we are born again unto Him...and He remains steadfastly with us forevermore.

Matthew 1:23
"Behold! The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel" (which means, "God with us").

Luke 2:12
And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger."

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Let Us Have Peace

May we all experience true peace, today and every day...peace that is beyond all human comprehension and made possible only through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..." (Romans 5:1)

"and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)

God With Us

Praise God that He made a way for humanity to be reconciled unto Him! A Holy Child born and given to us through the zealous love of The Lord!

He is the Wonderful Counselor who listens to every sorrow. He intimately knows every struggle and the innermost desires of our hearts. He provides an eternal resource to those who call upon His name.

He is our Mighty God and Lord over all. He is able and willing to save, shield and deliver each of His precious children. He is watching over His Word and fulfills It.

He is our Eternal Father, Alpha and Omega, nailed to The Cross, and interceding on our behalf every second of every day. He designed us in His image and made a way for us to reside with Him forever. He completes us.

He is the Prince of Peace, promising an abundant life of hope, love, joy and a sound mind to those who diligently seek Him.

Surrendered Heart

May we all have the same strength of faith, trust and obedience that Mary modeled when faced with God's will.

Oh, what our Father can accomplish through even the most meager of men. The only requirement is a willing, surrendered heart!

Let The Lord's searching eyes rest on us; find in us a pliable heart, softened to His will. Let it be unto us, according to His Word!

Psalm 119:38
Establish Your word to Your servant, As that which produces reverence for You.

Luke 1:37
For nothing will be impossible with God.

Luke 1:48
For He has looked with favor on the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed.

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God."

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him...

Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

Child of The Living God

Take a moment to truly reflect on what God has done for you...

Contemplate the complexity and perfection of His divine purpose; how He lovingly and deliberately chose to include you in His plan.

Receive the truth in your innermost being that long ago, before Elohim created the heavens and earth, He formed you in His mind. Praise Him for intricately planning your existence, identity and holy inheritance; that He dwelled on Earth in human form, sacrificed Himself, and was risen on the third day...so you could glorify and join Him for eternity!

No matter what your circumstances, He never changes. He is true to His promises; His plan is revealed and His purpose will be fulfilled. And He lavishes you with the greatest, most glorious Gift ever unwrapped...The Mystery of Jesus Christ! That you may be filled with The Holy Spirit and are called precious child of The Living God!

1 John 3:1
Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.

to whom God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints.

I pray that out of the riches of His glory, He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being,

But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God--

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Demonstrative Love

Our worth is decided by God and God alone...His appraisal of our value is the atoning sacrifice of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ.

God planned our existence before creation...loved us at our darkest and worked it together for our good to spend eternity with Him.

THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN HIS!

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 15:13
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."

1 John 4:10
"This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

Psalm 139:13-14
"For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well."

Hold On To His Promises

Hold on to His Precious Promises Let us meditate on His promises and write them on the tablet of our hearts...

For it is through these that we maintain ever-present peace and have hope of a glorious future. We walk without weariness, run the race of endurance, fight the good fight, and soar up on wings of eagles as we wait on the promised return of our King.

Let us take heart and trust in His Word. For, God is immutable, ever present and faithful to fulfill His promises.

Brethren, be encouraged by this today and every day! Allow nothing to steal your joy! Maintain peace that surpasses all understanding and live an abundant, fruitful life of fearless freedom.

Glory to Abba God, for all of what He has lovingly and carefully promised to us forevermore!

Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God Is Love

God is the author and originator of love. HE IS LOVE. It is because of His love that we exist and are also able to love.

There is absolutely nothing that can alter The Father's pure, authentic, unconditional love for His precious children. He will never leave or forsake us. His love cannot be earned; the debt has already been paid in full.

His love is based on Who He is, not who we are or what we do or think.

Choose His love. It is a holy, perfect, perpetual gift that guarantees grace and freedom. And it can be unwrapped every day...for eternity.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God Completes Every Work

Father God,

I pray that today and every day we will be more fully persuaded and have a renewed confidence in this truth:

You are a God who completes!

Lord, You lack nothing and we know that You do not not abandon ANY work You have ordained. For, You are The All Sufficient One and You are only capable of complete perfection!

Father, thank You for beginning the work of Grace within us and for comforting us with Your Truth. You alone will see through to completion Your work in us...according to Your Will...in order to accomplish Your

Perfect Plan!

Thank You, Lord, that Your Promises include for us an everlasting life. We humbly praise and thank You for the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus, so that we may dwell with You for eternity.

Father, we pray for strength of endurance as we set our eyes on Your Kingdom and we give You all the Glory!

In the name of our holy and righteous Savior, Jesus Christ,
Amen!

God Is Doing A New Thing

Satan likes to utilize our shame from past mistakes to fill us with a sense of indictment. The enemy gains a stronghold through our unhealed hearts; thus, intensifying and festering our anger, guilt and regret. He uses our lingering, painful emotions to rob us of our joy and peace in the present.

Even more dangerous, the enemy can glamorize the past in a way that makes us long for pieces of our old self. This is a dangerous, slippery slope. Remember Lot's wife! Our past is the biggest indicator of how desperately we need our precious Savior!

In contrast, God says we are a new creation and justified by the Blood of Christ. God says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. God is able to restore the years the locusts have taken away. He promises an abundant life full of hope. Through His grace, every mistake can be miraculously transformed into a beautiful testimony of His love, mercy, forgiveness and splendor.

The past, along with the present and future, belong to Abba God. Therefore, let us trust and honor God by surrendering it to Him, all for His ordained and anointed purpose. Let us partner with The Balm of Gilead in a heart healing; obey and trust Him to make all things new; praise Him for all He has done and will continue to do.

Let us give God all the glory for how He made a way for us through Jesus; believe and fully receive His Grace. Let us rejoice that we are reconciled by The Blood of The Lamb; sanctified, transformed and regenerated by The Holy Spirit.

Take heart, for there is no place in the present or our future for anything old. We are a new creation...kin with Christ...citizens of Heaven. If there is anything useful from our brokenness, God can certainly transform it into something beautiful, according to His Will and all for His Marvelous Glory...

Believe!

Faith in God is our means to overcoming every trial and temptation that we are faced with in our humanity.

When we turn away from temptation and turn to Him with absolute confidence, we will be victorious through Him.

He is a faithful God of unlimited power and resources. He knows all about yesterday, today and tomorrow. He knows exactly how much we can bear and He knows the course through every conceivable situation.

Believe and receive His deliverance...and witness His promises over your life fulfilled, according to His Will for you in Christ.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

"If You can?" echoed Jesus. "All things are possible to him who believes!"

Jesus replied, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God."

2 Peter 2:9
...if all this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

1 Thessalonians 5:24
The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.

Romans 8:28
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

He Is Holy

Our Lord God is the Holiest of holies, far beyond anything else in existence. Yet, regardless of our human condition, our Heavenly Father desires an intimate relationship and fellowship with each of His children!

He desires for us to choose, honor and obey Him; to receive His sanctification and transformation into holiness. God created us in His likeness and designed us to spend eternity with Him! So much that He gave His only Son to accomplish this!

Let us approach His Holy Realm with humility; honor our time with Him on Holy Ground. Let us choose, praise, glorify, obey and worship our Abba Father in the manner that He is worthy.

Our Lord God is high and lifted up...and He Is Holy, Holy, Holy!

Unveiled & Mirroring God

Praise God for ripping the veil of disbelief and revealing The Mystery of Jesus Christ to us! As believers, we are partakers of the divine nature, one with The Son, and promised eternity with Jesus!

Praise God for our call to holiness and our ongoing sanctification; for our indwelling of The Holy Spirit as we are transformed more fully into His image each day.

Oh Lord, let our unveiled faces mirror Your grace, mercy, love and forgiveness. Let others see You in us, as You bring us from glory to glory; all for your splendor and glory, forevermore!

I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one--

And He has made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ

Romans 8:29
For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.

John 15:9
As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.

John 17:5
And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.

1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Fortress of Hope

Regardless of what you may be facing today, place your trust in the Fortress of hope, and you will not be shaken.

God is the giver and foundation of your faith. He is the author of salvation and eternal life. He commands all things seen and unseen. Just let your soul rest in Him, for He is the unlimited source of your help, hope, peace, comfort and strength.

The Right Thoughts

It is so easy to let our thoughts run away from us. You know, the inward chatter that goes on all day. The voice when you get up in the morning, the musing on the drive to work, the stewing over events on the way home. Inner thoughts are powerful.

They create emotions which in turn cause actions. Paul is saying that we have to take ownership of our inner dialog.

It is so easy to be negative, anxious, angry, doubtful, bitter or carnal in our thinking. Instead, we need to be responsible for what we think and deliberately focus on true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praise worthy thoughts. What a difference this discipline would bring to our life.

Father, I give you my thought life. I want you to be Lord of both my conscious and unconscious part of my being. You know my thought process. You know my habitual thinking patterns. I bring them to you. I ask that you help me today, begin a habit of focusing on true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praise worthy thoughts.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Comfort And Strength

God knows exactly what we need to make it in this life. He offers to us two indispensable tools for getting us through any of life’s situation.

He gives us comfort and strength. Comfort calms us. Comfort gives us hope and encourages our faith. Comfort gives us the ability to trust God for the strength to press on.

Strength to help us overcome obstacles. Strength needed for everyday life. Today may God comfort your heart and mind and give you all the strength you need.

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.”
II Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NLT)

Father, I pray that You will give me all the comfort and strength I need for this day. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

God Won't Give Us More Than He Can Handle

Does The Bible Say That God Won't Give You More Than You Can Handle?

James 10:13 says that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can handle and that He will provide a way of escape. But nowhere in the Bible does it say that God will not give us more than we can handle. But many Christians erroneously believe that it's in the word of God due to misquoting James 10:13.

The truth of the matter is that our God in His infinite wisdom knows that we, His children cannot overcome trials and difficulties in our on strength. Jesus exhorts us,  "Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest. (Mathew 11:28)  He also warns us, "In this world, you will have tribulation but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

It is evident through just these two scriptures alone that God knows that we cannot handle our darkest trials alone....but He can!  Therefore, the more correct statement is that God won't give us more than He can handle.

It is in those pain wracked moments of our lives when we feel that we just can’t take it anymore and cry out to Him, fall at His feet in sweet surrender clinging to Him in desperation that we are filled His supernatural peace, strength, and comfort.

In the process, we encounter His very heart. He fills us with His love and grace causing us to bow down in praise and adoration giving God all the glory for meeting us in the depth of our pain and despair and carrying us through it giving us victory in Jesus.

"And He said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
