With everything going
on all over the world lately it is hard to read bible verses like the ones
below and not feel a wave of chills run down your spine. Everything that has
been prophesied and predicted in the bible has happened and come true up until
this point -- down to the very minute detail (research this very topic and it
will blow your mind). So then at some point we (especially nonbelievers) all
must ask ourselves the question, "What makes us think the end of the story
won't come true?"
"But understand this, that in the last days there will
come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money,
proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving
good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather
than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.
Avoid such people." 2 Timothy 3:1-5
"In their case the god of this world has blinded the
minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of
the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Corinthians 4:4
I sincerely pray that the acts of terrorism, violence, and
everything else that continues to happen around us will prompt all of my fellow
sisters and brothers who are lost or questioning their beliefs, to start
seeking and searching for answers and light a fire in them that cannot be put
out, and to put their faith in the only answer and solution to all of this
madness -- Jesus.
He is our only hope. Brothers and sister.....He is coming back for those who belong to Him and we win in the end. Give your life to Jesus and keep looking up.
" And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:3
"And God will wipe away
every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow,
nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have
passed away.” Revelation 21:4
