“Finally, brethren...Meditate on these things"

"Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

Whatever things are true...
"The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever" (Psalm 119:160)

Whatever things are noble...
"But the noble man devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands" (Isaiah 32:8)

Whatever things are just...
"The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He." (Deuteronomy 32:4)

Whatever things are pure...
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me" (Psalms 51:10)

Whatever things are of good report...
"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." (Ephesians 4:29)

If there is any virtue...
“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue" (II Peter 1:3)

If there is anything praiseworthy...
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." (Ephesians 1:3)
