After seeing many miracles and sitting through many teachings, Jesus took his disciples up to Caesara Phillipi where behind Him was a valley of monuments and markings for pagan idol worship. With that in the backdrop, He asked a question that went straight for their heart, “who do YOU say that I am?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is not a theological question of sorts, really, it’s more of a personal question. Think of it as a question removing all the noise and all the built up head knowledge, it’s time to get down to the brass tax of things. Because this question applies to you and it applies to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
