Bitterness Others A Chance to Repent

Bitterness Doesn’t Give Others A Chance To Repent

Sometimes we hold on to hurt without communicating the nature of hurts to others.

They often aren’t even aware they have offended us. When we stuff our feelings eventually, the stuffing is going to come out.

That’s because when you fill anything with pressure, it will explode. In the same way, the outburst in our hearts can result in broken marriages and relationships, especially our relationship with God.

Some are shocked to find out that we have been keeping score of their wrongdoings against us.

Give people a chance to state their case and learn to forgive. Don’t stuff your feelings. Express them, forgive and release others to Jesus – the One, who displayed to us with His precious blood how mercy triumphs over judgment.

God Will Turn Darkness Into Light

Depression can affect many aspects of our lives, because it impacts us not only physically, but also our mind and soul.  Oftentimes, people are given things to change physically; which is not a bad thing.  Creating new habits, a self-care plan, and boundaries are never a bad thing.  These new and intentional changes uplift our walk.

However; we must also carefully examine our whole self because we are a three part being made up of: mind, body, spirit.

When we dig deeper into depression; there are often roots that are underneath the physical ailments we face each day, such as:

•spiritual: shame, guilt, unforgiveness, sin, unbelief, anger

• mind: rage, drunkenness, jealousy, lust, evil desires, grief, lying, etc.

When left unaddressed, we often sink deeper into darkness creating chains or prison walls that we don’t see a way out of, but God!  When we call out to God, He answers that call!  Don’t be afraid sisters, He wants to hear from you, today.  Cry out to Him, asking Him for help and pray for eyes to see how He is moving on your behalf!  Maybe the answered prayers will show up as a friend who you haven’t heard from in a while, this post that encourages you to seek Your Healer or healing from the help of counseling, a desire to read His Word again, a worship song that speaks to you in a powerful way.

God is faithful!

“I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not abandon them.” Isaiah‬ ‭42‬:‭16‬ ‭CSB‬‬

“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and gloom and broke their chains apart. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his faithful love and his wondrous works for all humanity.” Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭CSB‬‬

You Are Not Alone in Your Grief

Some of the most powerful healing can come through the most painful of circumstances. One of those extremely painful circumstances is grief but need not look further than Jesus and His word for healing.

Mary was distraught and beside herself with grief when Lazarus had passed away. But what she did was not run and yell at Jesus, not turn away from Him, not call Him names or question Him. No, she ran and fell at His feet grieving and sobbing. Humbly at His feet He met her. Jesus wept. Jesus wept the tears with her, He groaned and sobbed the same pain and from here the healing took place. He gave her the only thing that could heal her-His Comfort, His Love and His promises! “Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)

And one of the most profound miracles recorded happened!

Weep at the feet of Jesus...here lays the comfort, love, healing and promise of hope that with His tears will wash away grief. "Surely He has borne our grief and carried our sorrows. Isaiah 53:4 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3 "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise." Jeremiah 17:14 "He has made all things beautiful in His time." Ecclesiastes 3:11

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
