Our enemy is formidable, but our God is greater. And, in our humanity, we are without strength except that which is drawn from The Holy Spirit.
Therefore, we must be on alert and perpetually don the whole armor of God, as it is designed for Christians to wear at all times. We must pray without ceasing, be courageous, stand firm in faith...and be strong in the power of The LORD’s might.
1 Peter 1:13
Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober-minded. Set your hope fully on the grace to be given you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1 Thessalonians 5:8
But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation.
Ephesians 6:13
Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.
Ephesians 6:14
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed...
1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on the alert. Stand firm in the faith. Be men of courage. Be strong.
2 Timothy 2:1
You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Luke 12:35
Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning.

Delivered
Unfortunately, none of us has an automatic detour to prevent us from encountering valleys in our human journey. We live in a sin-stained world and there is no perfection on this side of Eternity. However, as believers, we have a choice not to wander in the wilderness. If we are walking with Jesus, we are never lost!
In these seasons that try our souls and test our faith, we must have hope and fix our gaze on the eternal prize that awaits us. Our faithful God of unlimited resources will enable us to navigate in perfect peace if we place unwavering faith in Him. God is ever-present and always offers us spiritual and emotional protection. God alone is our means of overcoming every temptation placed before us. He is our anchor, hope and comfort when we are faced with uncertainty, adversity and heartache.
And if we do get momentarily derailed, our Heavenly Father is waiting with welcoming arms for His prodigal children. He alone holds the power to remove bondage and restore us to the path of righteousness. Deliverance is just a prayer away, and we are never beyond the reach of our Shepherd.
Lord, we pray for Your deliverance in the wilderness of our momentary troubles, and that You will enable us to maintain the eternal compass of Jesus Christ. We trust You to stretch and bend us according to Your will, and lead us to Your peaceful and living waters. Our hope, faith, peace and rest is in You alone.
In The Name of Jesus, our Refuge, Redeemer and Deliverer,
Amen.
Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
1 Peter 2:25
For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
Luke 15:20
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
Isaiah 53:6
All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.
John 10:11
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you.
Hebrews 6:19
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and steadfast. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.
2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light and temporary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that far outweighs our troubles.

For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to fountains of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

We Walk by Faith Not By Sight
Thank the Lord our faith depends on what HE can do, and not on what we can do. If you're walking by faith with some things in your life right now, don't stop, friends. Don't let go of His outstretched hand. All God asks is that we trust Him. Trust Him with all that we have. Trust Him to fulfill all our needs. And allow HIM to be our All in all. Don’t lose sight of the Truth. God is a good God. His heart is pure. EVERYTHING He does has purpose, and as hard as it is to remember sometimes, everything He does is filled with perfection. He is not leading you to leave you desolate and alone. He won’t allow you to go the wrong way if you are seeking Him and His will for your life. Trust that! Hold on to it!
When we remember who He is, we can stand with confidence in what He is doing. We can know that He IS who He says He is and, that He is a GOOD GOOD God. A God who loves you so much, and if you could only see what HE sees, you would understand everything. You would understand His timing. His ways. His words. His direction. Don’t turn from Him when you are feeling lost or confused – turn TO Him, and He will bless you.
He loves you with an everlasting love. As much as the cross signifies that, He will go into even greater depths to show you all the more in this season of your life. Why? Because He loves you. Because YOU matter to Him. Because there is only one of YOU, and He longs for YOU to know His heart. To know His love. To know how valuable you are.
So rest in knowing that He sees you. He has His hand on you. He hasn’t forgotten about you, and where are you are at is not a surprise to Him. Trust Him. He is working. He is faithful and, He will show you. He will show you He is in control. He will show you His great love. He will do, the impossible.
"Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act." Psalms 37:5
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

What giants are you facing today?
Would it make any difference if you just stopped...got still with God...and considered that your conflict is not against flesh or things seen, but against spiritual wickedness in high places?
Would you get on your knees in obedience...align your will with His...and surrender it to The LORD of Hosts, Jehovah-Sabaoth?
Why place your faith or trust in something less than the All-seeing, All-knowing, Almighty Creator? Why take on the battle without Jesus, when there is so much power in His Name alone?
Do not fear. Do not be dismayed or discouraged. Stand firm in your faith at the feet of Jesus. He is always with you and will NEVER leave or forsake you!
HE IS RULER OVER ALL principalities and powers seen and not seen....and the battle belongs to Him!
...Thus saith the Lord unto you, "Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's." (2 Chronicles 20:15)
And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands. (1 Samuel 17:47)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. (Psalm 20:7-8)
Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8)
The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
No one is like you, Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. (Jeremiah 10:6)
